UMM is an iconic Portuguese brand that has been producing off-road vehicles for over 20 years, exporting to more than 30 countries.
Initially, the cars were used by the army, fire department, police, and other government organizations, but they were quickly adopted for a variety of private uses. Our cars had very versatile chassis and were adapted to cranes, snow plows, trailers, caravans, pickups, and many, many others, and could be used with hard tops, canvas tops, or convertible tops.
Their robustness and build quality meant they could be used on any type of terrain or even dropped from planes by the Air Force.
UMM participated in several Paris-Dakar rallies, with all of its cars completing every rally in which they participated, at a time when the dropout rate was around 70%.
With this experience, UMM completely dominated national off-road competitions and introduced a whole generation to off-road competition and adventure motorsports in our country.
