HR Department brings know-how to Nova SBE
An innovative programme that simulates, in game format, the management of a company in the automotive sector, challenging students to make strategic decisions in real time and deal with the consequences in the ‘market’.
Nalina Kará, our former HR Director, led the session by sharing real cases and best practices in people management. The class showed how Human Resources, when taking a strategic and business-oriented approach, can be a driver of innovation, productivity and organisational culture, directly impacting results. As Nalina points out, ‘The link between HR and academia is a bridge to the future — it shapes leaders who will transform companies and impact the market.’
This participation reflects the proactive stance of the HR Department in strengthening ties with academia, helping to prepare new generations with practical knowledge, market insight, and real-world examples. ‘Tomorrow’s leaders are not trained solely from books—they must learn from today’s reality,’ adds Nalina, reinforcing the importance of exposing students to concrete challenges and strategic decisions.
