The new CLA has arrived in style at C. Santos VP Alfragide
16 October saw the launch of the new 100% electric CLA in Spain and Portugal, and all Mercedes-Benz Portugal dealerships were challenged to make the event as technological, artistic and red as possible to match this new model.
C. Santos VP decided to combine this milestone with the inauguration of the new MAR20X space built in Alfragide, resulting in an event that left no one indifferent and flooded our headquarters with red.
We transformed the showroom into an event space fully decorated with red fabrics and lighting, set up a stage dedicated to welcoming various guests throughout the evening, and from 6 pm onwards we began to welcome our more than 300 guests.
During this first moment, everyone had the opportunity to get to know the renovated space with the MAR 20X concept, as well as enjoy the cocktail, take home a souvenir of the event with a personalised Polaroid photo, or even book a test drive with a robot that moved autonomously around the space and challenged guests to interact with its screen.
At the appointed time, 6:45 p.m., we began the event programme with Ricardo Pereira, ambassador for C. Santos VP, introducing Filipe Baptista da Silva, executive director of
C. Santos VP, and Holger Marquardt, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Portugal. Both explained the importance of investing in the recently completed renovation of C. Santos VP Alfragide and how this new presentation is not just aesthetic but a set of new services and processes that put the customer first.
Next, Tatanka took to the stage for an intimate concert with just his voice and guitar, which nevertheless filled the entire hall with the raw emotion of his unmistakable voice with tones of jazz, soul and blues.
With the audience already enthusiastic and warmed up, it was time for two Product Experts to present the new car – Bruno Rosa and Rodrigo Rocha were the faces that brought us all the information about the new 100% electric CLA and revealed all the new features, innovations and peculiarities of this brand new model.
But, although everyone had heard about the launch by this point, no one had seen it yet – the new CLA remained covered in the centre of the stand, arousing much curiosity!
It was then that we surprised the guests with a burlesque show that began on the red carpet, passed through the stage and ended with the dancers next to the car, which was finally revealed!
But the night was not over yet! When everyone had had a chance to see the car, take photos, sit in it and touch its interior, Ricardo Pereira returned to the stage to deliver the first CLA to C. Santos VP’s first customer!
The evening continued in high spirits until 11 pm, and we are sure that this red night will remain in everyone’s memory for a long time to come. It is the beginning of a new era!
