AMG Experience Algarve 

On 25 and 26 May, C. Santos VP took advantage of a Mercedes-Benz Portugal event at the Algarve International Racetrack to organise another key moment for our AMG community.

All customers who purchased Mercedes-AMG vehicles this year received a track experience as a gift – after all, what better way to celebrate the acquisition of more than 390 horsepower than to experience the true adrenaline rush on the road?

And because the pleasure of the road lies in the journey and not the destination, we decided to extend the activity: on Sunday, we arranged to meet at the “Rei das Praias” restaurant in Ferragudo, where we booked a dinner for everyone with grilled meat and fish with the freshness that only an establishment that prides itself on combining gastronomy with the seaside can provide. It happened to be a tense day for football fans – the Portuguese Cup final – a situation that we embraced and that ended up bringing the group closer together.

The next day, the programme started early: at 8:30 a.m., the presentation of the plans and safety precautions took place at the racetrack, where a circuit organised by the Mercedes-AMG team awaited the customers.

Everyone had the opportunity to drive on the track but also to experience exciting off-road courses, as well as skill tests such as drifting and track pace.

Electrification was not left out of the plan: in addition to the off-road experience behind the wheel of the new G 580 Class with EQ technology, there was also an activity to test the best of the combination of AMG power and electric agility.

The event ended with a lunch where everyone had the opportunity to share contacts and strengthen ties, which is, at the end of the day, the ultimate goal of these events.
